This site is a tribute to our beloved Jackie. 

Jackie was the driving force – the energy, the light and focus at the centre of the family. Always encouraging everyone to work and achieve. For over 50 years she was a devoted wife to Jack, mother to Mark, Rachel and Ben, and subsequently grandmother to John, Lauren, Alec and more recently Evelyn, and she was so very proud of her kids and their achievements. And of her special soul mate ‘Tweed’ her devoted Springer Spaniel, who is missing her so much at present.

Jackie truly lived for her family and close friends. They meant the world to her and were never far from her thoughts.

We have chosen the NSPCC as our tribute charity. Jackie was a long-standing supporter of the charity and her devotion to children and child welfare spread across her whole world; from her maternal love of her own children and grandchildren, her long career as a teacher and even into her love for the stage. It seems a fitting testament to our wonderful Jackie that we can support something she was so passionate about.
